How to export

Sign in on the website, not the appThe export option only appears in the web version of Copy Me That. Open it in a browser and sign in to the account holding your recipes.

Why we do not convert this one yet

Copy Me That exports HTML and text rather than structured data. That is genuinely fine for reading and for keeping a backup, but converting it means reading a page layout rather than named fields — and a layout can change without warning.

We only ship a converter for a format we have tested against a real export file. We have not tested one from Copy Me That, so building it now would mean guessing at the markup. A converter that silently drops the ingredients from a tenth of your recipes is worse than one that does not exist, because you would not find out until you needed a recipe.

If you have an export file and are willing to share it, we will build this properly.
